Is it illegal to advertise firearms on broadcast TV? It'd be great to see some ads for Bushmaster, S&W, Remington or Kimber on TV. Show a TV spot with a family at home and a gangbanger-burglar trying to break in, then the Mom or Dad grabs their "Glock 21 with integrated trigger safety" and scares off the burglar. "Glock - Thousands of police trust it with their lives. Isn't your family worth it too?" Remember when Kerry and the Democrats were all screeching a few weeks ago about how American troops "failed" to secure 377tons of explosives, that the American troops "failed" to protect every square mile of Iraqi border after Baghdad fell, that American troops "failed" to secure munitions dumps after we took Baghdad. Remember that? Well those were also the exact same chattering idiots who were hysterically wailing and screeching on April 10th 2003 that American troops weren't protecting Iraqi museums from looters trying to steal broken bits of 1,000 year old pottery. How many times since the election do you suppose John Kerry has gone hunting? And speaking of hunting, isn't it interesting how NO ONE in the mainstream media is highlighting what kind of "deer-hunting rifle" was used to murder five hunters and wound three more this past Saturday? Isn't it interesting how the police never made a media spectacle of parading the killer's "deer-hunting rifle" in front of the cameras like they did with the D.C. sniper's "assault rifle"? Where's the Brady Campaign's outcry over how many deadly "deer-hunting rifles" there are in this country and that there's NO LEGLISLATION to stop this kind of slaughter from happening again? Why are so many professionals in the HEALTHCARE field, especially nurses, so fat? Is XXL the standard size for scrubs? A friend just got back from a vacation in Italy. He went to Sicily and said the mafia there is still majorly in control of all aspects of government and police there. He also said that during WWII, the reason Americans had such a reasonably easy time moving through Sicily (compared to the British who took thousands of casulties) is because America arranged for a big mafioso to be released from prison here who then, in exchange, contacted the mafia back in Sicily and told them to make sure there was very little opposition against our trops from the Italians or Germans forces who were really controlled on Sicily by the mafia. Is that true? |
I think La Familia were in control of Sicily and had a lot of Italian brass on the payroll. As far as the Germans in Sicily, they got an offer they couldn't refuse. |
