We lost a Senate seat in IL to a liberal, and lost Phil Crane (R), who has represented much of the northern suburbs of Chicago since about 1969.
 Overall, throughout the country it looks good though. Just wish we had some better luck in Illinois. |

He didn't have one. CNN reported about 30 minutes ago that he hadn't even thought to prepare a concession speach. Bush, OTOH, who has NEVER looked at the Presidency as the be-all and end-all, DID have one prepared. |
