I gotta haul ass to sight in 2 rifles before work. I got about an hour to do it. I have 2 different rounds in using for each gun. All I got is a 100 yard range to work with and I will be shooting out to 200 yards.

My Hornady 165gr boat tail match custom ammo says at a 100 yards it should be 2" high to be zeroed at 200 yards so I am sighting for that.

The other round is a 150gr soft point that is 2750 FPS. Where would it be at 50 and a 100 yards relative to my eventual 200 yard shot?

I just gotta get this done before this weekend and I don't wanna be all over the place.

Thanks in advance guys...I lurk at work and can't post. This is the first time I've posted in over a year.

2" sounds about right for 165 gr hornady, if you have access to a ballistic calculator program, just zero both at 100 then make the adjustments from what the program gives you.

Without knowing the BC and velocities of both I can't give you exact but both should be fairly close to 2" low at 200 and 1/2" high at 50yds for 100 zero.

Edited to clarify grammer
