I got the King groundschool book and CD-rom. (Apparently I was a very good boy this year |

I didn't go that route but I have heard it was succesful for many. Whatever you do, I'd suggest you do your ground training simltaneosly with your flight training. If you do the flight training later, you might forget lots of things you learned in ground school and have to review again. |
Thats what Im worried about, but Ive got so much free time now. Thanks! Just out of curiosity, what did you do for groundschool? |
I took a class at an FBO with 5 other people. It was a great ground school, but I really didnt study on my own like I needed to. I ended up getting a 79 on the written test. I took my checkride almost a year later. |

I got the sportys PPL discs since I'm over here and it gives me a nice easy way to work on my ground school- watched them once through so far and they're pretty damn good- explained a few things that I knew...but didn't REALLY know.... I had one of the intro king discs and liked that as well... From what I saw their course is probably good as well... -Roth |
