Since I'll be at work, my father is willing to hang out at my house so someone is there when UPS delivers a package tomorrow. The package was sent "Signature Required". Will they let someone other than me sign for the package, and if not, how do they know he's not me if he signs my name? Do they request ID?

This signature required stuff is a pain in the ass!

Just has to be an adult, no ID required. Sometimes you can even leave a sticky note on your door with your signature and the driver will leave the package.

"signature required" usually means they dump it by the bushes next to the garage and don't even ring the bell or knock, then later that night you check the shipping status and see it as "delivered" so you get your flashlight out and go looking for your package.

Ok good...sounds like I won't have a problem. I know they have "Adult Signature Required" and "Signature Required". I know the adult one is any person over 18 can sign. Wasn't sure on the other one.

I've had a UPS signature required left at a business a mile away. It was a $450 lothar walther barrel too

Used to love UPS at my last place. If I wasn't around they would deliver it next door to my dads business. Worked out great.

Adult signature required requires someone over the age of 21 to sign. "Signature required" means they just need a signature from anyone at the address that it was recieved.
