Is this a real word in the USA???

I have seen many posters use it.  Some whom I even have some respect for.

It just drives me up a wall.....

PROBABLY??  Is this what they are trying to say??

Yep, that's the word that they're prolly trying to say!

Y'all don't have slang up there in the Great White North?

What do y'all do for pastimes? Club baby seals?[:D]

prolly = probably

yer = your

cuz = because

gonna = going to

'tween = between

ain't = am not / are not

fer = for

'em  = them

Well, you get the idea. I wouldn't (=would not) let it degrade your opinion of others, or cause you to lose respect fer 'em.

Folks use it cuz when yer gonna post alot, it's prolly quicker.  It ain't a sign that there's less 'tween their ears.  It ain't a reason fer ya to flame 'em.

Oh, gawd, that was awful.  16 years of higher education down the tubes in three sentences.

LOL.. Jeff Foxworthy... translation follows.

j'eatyet? (did you eat yet?)

Naw, dju? (no, did you?)

yuontoo? (do you want to?)

This next one is easy to say but hard to spell...

aa-rrit' - (alright)

And some more southernisms...

zolboy (this old boy, as in "Zolboy went down to the....")

I reckon (I guess so)

dangnabbit (a polite version of "g_dammit")

dingus (dumbass)

deediddleysquat (damn, as in "I don't give a deediddleysquat about...")

figger (figure, as in "I kaint figger this out")

kaint (can't, as in "I kaint figger this out")

dawg (dog)

I thought of a couple more...

dan-air - (down there) - "I'm fixin'to go dan-air to the fillin' station."

fillin' station - gas station

hay'-yul - (hell) "Go to hay'-yul yew sum-bitch!"

sum-bitch (son of a bitch)

ga-ron-tee-tole-yee (guarantee told you) - a variation of a Justin Wilson phrase

Am I bored today? Dunno. Mebbe so. [BD]

"My Bad" came from a movie called "Clueless".
That's also where the term "going postal" came into mainstream use.
