Alright. Project Runay. So a coworker got me to watch the first episode of season three this past Wend. and now ... I *love* it!!! Anyone here watch it? For those who do ... what do you think of the new group? Who's your fav, your least fav? I just want to talk about this show because I think it's so cool. So entertain me please lol.

Huge guilty pleasure. It's a show that I watch religiously, and I really can't figure out why. Maybe it's because I like seeing some of the crap that people come up with that they honestly believe is going to be the latest trend.....  Too soon to tell who I'll be rooting for; get back to me in a few episodes. |
| I'm with Gabby, I have no idea my attraction to this show. I have zero concept of fashion and for the most part steer clear of reality shows...but...I love Project Runway. I have a gut feeling about the architect lady. The 'coat/dress' thing she did from the apartment stuff was great, but more so I think she'll hold up to the pressure and drama. Thoughts? |

I've been addicted to this show since season 1! It is awesome. SP1grl, The concept is that a group of up and coming designers compete for a 100,000 and a bunch of other stuff to start their own line. Every week they are given a new challenge to design some type of garment. Than someone is kicked off at the end of the show. The final three get to have a show during fashion week. Then one of the three is chosen as the winner. My favorite part of the show is watching the creative process, oh and Tim Gunn. And snarky comments from Micheal Cors. |

hehe thanks for the replies girls. I'd love to keep this up if you guys want to talk about any shenangins that go on during the season. I have had a thing for fashion design since I was little and I just watched the show and I was hooked. It has to be a mix of the sassy boys making comments or just seeing how people come up with stuff. Did anyone think that coffee filter dress was awesome??????? I couldn't believe he made that!!! As for my thoughts ... I know it's a little too soon to have a hunch I watched that episode before the real episode where you saw flashes of their portfolio and what not and I could get a better feel for each one. My two favorites are Malan and Vincent. Jeffery is in the running at third at this point. Oh and I think Angela should be kicked off. Anyways I know Vincent's first dress sucks but he knows how to do stuff. although ultimately I think he will be kicked off because he can't handle the stress. Laura? The mom with five kids you guys were talking about is pretty awesome too but I'm not sure her style is something that can change or take on other forms ... but we'll have to see what she comes up with when given different challenges. Evening wear is next week so that should be real pretty and Malan and Laura are probably going to rule it since its their thing. |

I picked Malan as the winner for next week and Angela to be kicked off. (Although I'm kind of afraid Vincent will be but I want to keep watching him for a few more episodes!!)

lol I am so done. Angela should have been kicked off. She will be kicked off, and she's a major b. I love Vincent but I would have rather seen him go, and know he will have to, over Malan. Malan's dress wasn't great but I still don't think it was the worst dress there. I slept on it and I'm still upset :( and I said I was boycotting the show right when it happened and I think I'm not holding onto that because it is a good show, but I think it was very stupid of them to lose Malan. I dunno, I'll give the next episode a try but if I have to see if i'll still be feeling it. I really had high hopes for Malan!!! The dress was not made for miss usa but it would have been fine for someone else like that model, he was making her look bustier but thats not what miss usa wanted. He just wanted it to look the best it could at that moment. I was so sad! Did you see everyone crying and hugging him? I hope he does something awesome after hehe. I'm such a dork. |
