In an effort to raise membership and awareness, Charles Cotton, an NRA board member From Texas has launcehd Project One Million.
I signed up six people last week and will sign up at least three this week. When I sign someone up, I ask them to find someone else to join and so on. My personal goal is to sign at least one person per week for the next year. If we are to stand firm agaainst the Anti's, we must have numbers. One million members in Texas alone would send a strong message to the gun grabbers in Washington. So, if you are not a member, please join. If you are a member, you probably know someone who needs to be a member. Ask them. Talk to friends and family about the importance of preserving our heritage, and remember to sign up spouses and children. NRA memberships make great Christmas and birthday gifts as well. Let's stand united in the fight to seperate us from our guns, because divided we will surely fall... |

As always when you sign someone do it through ARFCOM's NRA LINK
NRA has membership recruitment alliances with many websites so it is extremely important they see new members coming from ARFCOM. I'd actually be curious to see the numbers breakdown by website. Hope ARFCOM's in the lead. If not...you all know what to do!

| I got my sister and BIL a yearly membership thru the ARFcom link. Plan on adding another three yearly members - coworkers next payday. My dad and I are already lifers. I agree with the OP, easy way to boost our power in NRA by having devoted members purchase a few gift memberships. |
