| Comcast cable internet,comcast modem and netgear router. Anytime Im on one of my forums and look at a thread with a ton of pics it boots me off of the internet and it has to reflash. Internet speed seems normal. What would cause this? |

I'd check manufacturer website to see if a newer firmware is available and install it if so.
If not, google search "make/model of router resets" to see if anyone else is experiencing this on the tech forums. http://forums.comcast.com/t5/Basic-Internet-Connectivity-And/Modem-disconnects-and-reboots-when-downloading-large-files/td-p/1060939 Could be line noise in your cable connection. Next thing I would do is eliminate the router and plug computer directly into the modem for a few hours and try it that way. If still happens, call cable company for service. If everything works, then upgrade firmware or replace crappy router. |
