How can I "unsubscribe" from a locked thread?
4/10/2009 3:26:20 AM EDT
[#1]
Open the thread and click the "unsubscribe" button.

[#2]
go to "subscriptions" and locate the thread.

Between the thread title and the thread authors name you will see a red minus sign and an envelope with a green arrow on it.

Click on the minus sign and it will remove the thread from your subscriptions.

Well, that's even simpler

Suggest bolding and capitalizing the thread title - mods are angered by having to squint through their bifocals to read requests.

Well, here's the problem guys:  The buttons along the top that have "New Topic", "Reply", "Forward", "Unsubscribe" are gone and replaced with a single, non-functioning button that says "Locked".  There is no obvious way to unsubscribe.  Come on guys, I'm not an idiot... most of the time.

In Subscriptions, there is a button for "Remove Thread". Looks like a red rectangle.

Thanks for the advice... and I'm ALMOST old enough to be a member of the bifocal brigade, so I'm ALMOST offended.....  damn kids....

OK, now I AM starting to feel like an idiot.  The only red rectangle's I see are labeled "Online Store" and "Conduct Code".  The only other red control I see is the square log off button.  This is both in my subcription list and in the locked subscribed thread as well...  care to dumb it down a little more for me, Darkstar117?
