Anyone with a clue about how to do what you want shitcaned those crappy VCRs at least 3 years ago and switched to TiVo.

Best bet, post that you need someone to Tivo it and burn you a DVD, and mail it to you.

I would, but I haven't gotten a burner yet.

Trust me, someone here can and will do this for you.

I looked for a blank tape..No luck!...Put a piece of duct tape over another VHS tape and placed it inside the VCR, Rewound the tape and checked for playback. Then I attempted to record a test just to make sure it worked...it did not. Instead it was recording something 50 channels south of where I need to be. I "taped for effect" and followed with the same result...at this point I removed the VCR from the entertainment center to check wiring connections, taped again with no luck.......(details)....basically I provided the VCR with a "few" adjustment hits and it now is completely shot.

Can somebody please record this for me and I will cover shipping and expenses. I need it mailed out to me tomorrow....show starts at 8:00pm on the WB network...

I tivo Gilmore Girls. Maybe there is a way that I can e-mail it to you. I'll have to ask the husband when he gets back from the gun shop.

What quality level do you Tivo the show on? Best quality for a 1 hour show is something like 2.5GB.
