Assume fairness, etc. No tricks.
1) 5 coins are tossed in the air, how many different combinations of Heads & Tails can result?
Example using 1 coin: - 2 (H or T)

Example using 2 coins: - 3 (HH, HT, TT - TH is same as HT since order does not matter).
2) 2 dice are tossed in the air,  how many different combinations of the 6 Sides can result?
Ok those were easy and just for warm-up. The real question is, construct a formula such that for N objects with S sides thrown simultaneously, how many different combinations can result?
