I didnt do much searching to see if this was the right place... so if I posted in the wrong forum then please ignore or move to where it needs to go...  thanks.

I am looking at buying a fullsize Colt AR-15.  Not a Bushmaster, nor an Oly, niether a PWA, Dalphon, or ____ either.  I'd like to own a Colt.  What I am going to pay?  Should I be looking for gun-show specials?  Are dealers going to have them at a reasonable price?

What kind of prices and I going to see?

Thanks.

Hehe.  I am just worried about paying $200 or so more than I have to.  If I can buy a Colt for $750 then I'll do it.

You wont get a colt for that, for damn sure, but you can get an equal rifle from a company with better customer service for that, with no trouble.

Don't listen to these naysayers. $189.50 - well, plus cost of the time machine.......

Colts on sale yesterday only

I had a colt M16A2 when serving in the USMC. I'm out now and own two bushmaster 20" AR-15's.
I have no regrets, they are every bit as good as my colt (quality wise), in my opinion.
Just my 2 cents.
