If you believe, and whatever your feelings about police. Tonight a man shot his ex-wife, and another woman. Then went to a police station and shot an officer, wounding him superficially. Then shot my friend Dave six times in the chest before being killed himself. Dave is a good man, and a good officer. Whose friends, wife, and children, will miss him very much if he is called home tonight. And as you sit at your keyboards, he is in surgery right now. We are waiting on the word, but so far it has not been good. I am off to stand around aimlessly near the ER now, but if you believe, and have a spare second, and believe that prayers are real and heard, Dave needs them. Andy |

Dear Lord, Please lay Your hand on Officer Dave's chest and heal him Lord. Take His pain away. If it is Your will God, grant him a speedy recovery. If You take him home, be merciful. Lay Your Aura of peace and love over his family and friends for they need You lord. You are wise and we can't begin to comprehend Your plans for us. Please let Dave stay with us. In Jesus name we pray, Amen. My second prayer of the night. Not good. |

Holy monkey. Anyhoo, the Bible says that the ministers of justice do not bear the sword in vain. It also says that by His stripes we are healed. I believe both. I pray that God will look upon this police officer with mercy and grace, and will have compassion on his soul, and will spare his life that he may be a living testament to the power of God to heal, and that he may be a living testament to the glory of God's justice and authority. |
