Is there a way to extract a picture from a PPt slide and save it as a separate file?

Thanx.

A number of ways, I think, but if you have the original .PPT file try this: right click on the image, Save As (or Save As Picture).  Other ways using screen capture applications could work, but you should be able to do the above.

You mean the individual pic or the slide?  I'm pretty sure you can double-click on the picture and a box (well, four or six dots or something) will show up around it and then you can right-click it and save it to your computer.

If it not a self exc. file just click on photo, right hand click, pick save. If they have that blocked, try click on photo, then use Ctrl C to copy, paste in a photo program and then save it that way.

Hmm...

I don't get any save selections when I right click.

I resorted to doing a Ctrl-Print Scrn, pasting it into Paint, and saving the screen shot as a jpeg.

Good enough.

Thanks for the input.
