My brother just released a new album, you can stream/download it for free. It's unusual, kind of a mix of fantasy/power metal/techno/electronica. If you liked the Final Fantasy series of video games, it's along the same line of music heard in the games.

We got you-tubed from a gig we did a couple weeks back. We generally play acoustics but we wanted to do a "surf set" so broke out a couple old DeArmonds & Fender tube amps. I'm on the right doin the rhythm on this one.

Cartel My band Cartel just released a new album called "collider" this past March. I play guitar, Its not metal or anything, its more pop-rock/radio friendly. Been touring the world since 2004. played TRL, did the whole major label thing, few songs on the radio, even had a mini-reality tv show on MTV. We skimmed the surface of fame & fortune & it was insanely awesome to have the priviledge of playing music with your buddies all over the world. Still touring all over now, well "riding the wave" is what i like to call it. Maybe have a couple more years left in me to do it, then probably go back to school & move on to the next chapter in my life...unless we blow up again & start making a shit ton of $$$  Edit: sorry for the facebook link for those who dont mess with it, only place i could think of where you can stream the album. |

Just got an update from him, he's planning on cranking them out in 2 weeks. He may also be doing some, most, or all of the solos. He's a really talented dude. Although we're still planning to bring in a session guitar player to do the solos, we'll have to see. I do love all the material, but overall I'm thrilled with how the drums came out. We wanted a huge natural sound. |
