My poor dog. We usually go for a walk around the airport every couple of hours but tonight we are staying inside. It's cold and raining outside. She just wants to go. I feel bad that the weather is not cooperating

We've got big robust dags, and three of the four are just total wussies when it comes to the rain - they'd rather hold it than go out in the rain. Wife and I joke they describe it as "ouch - acid falling from the sky". On a serious note, my wife says she read that the saturated noise of the rain may really mess with their ears and hearing, so there may be something behind some of them hating the rain. But our newest, that is part lab, doesn't mind the rain one bit. |
| Our female Elkhound comes inside to be with my wife. Our male Elkhound will set on the side of the hill in the worst winter weather and not want to come in. Snowing,wind blowing colder than a SOB and he is out there. It is like he is saying to the storm is this all you got? |
