Planetside is offering a year of free play. This is a first person shooter with 900 perosn battles.

The catch is you can only get to rank 6 of 25. So there's a limit to the number of skills you can have.

I've been playing on and off for 2 weeks and having a blast.

If you have bad fps, try turning your view distance to 2/3. Otherwise you're good to go.

It's a game by SOE. Stay far far away. Sony hates gamers. And customers.

If it's free, you're not really a customer.

If it's free, they're giving you a couple levels' play to try to make you a customer, where-upon they'll do their best to screw you over.

No... scared that people will spend a lot of their precious time with a Really Bad Company.

But, please... feel free to go right ahead.

I fail to see how anyone playing a game they enjoy hurts you in anyway.
