Just now out back. Damn lens fogging fiercely. Fawn can't be more than a day or so old.

It's like putting on crampons and walking through a room full of puppies.

Big pine I ran across cruising timber today. 27.5" diameter. 119 feet tall. One of the bigger ones I've tallied.

The 8mp shots just get gritty at full size.

Just got a Tamron 150-600 lens. Always wanted to do nature photography and found a good price on this one.

As far as insects go, this one was a trooper...or, it was dying and just couldn’t fly away.

These two are about a month apart.
The Thistles turned into seed pods which attracted hundreds of yellow and blue song birds.
Sadly there's no way I could catch up with any of them using my phone.
