This summer, my sister took a long vacation in Peru. She happened to be around when a military parade was taking place, and she took a bunch of pics for me. I was there in early June with a group, and our tour bus drove right through the middle of some plaza in Lima where the Army was getting ready for the swearing-in of Garcia, the president elect. The creepiest part of Peruvian security is that the Security Service (Servicio Seguridad) all have big patches on their uniforms that say "SS." |
