You just can't fix stupid (or cultural indoctrination and brain washing). Well, 87% of the time anyway.

Moving to a free state won't help...they'll still be 'tarded.

This is exactly what dags are for. Get one if you don't have one. Take it for a hike somewhere pretty.

This thread wasn't really brought on by CA issues...it was inspired by someone I know (not a friend), who lives in Mexico, posting on Facebook, about how "we" (the US) should have more background checks. I was going to address the situation head-on, but then decided why bother? Engaging can be a waste of time because:

A) Facebook
B) Mexico
C) Derp
D) Their opinion has already been forged from years of absorbing every word uttered on CNN
E) They were asking questions, but don't really want to hear the answers. They're just looking for people to agree with them. Showing them the light of a logical non-emotional point of view will just confuse their feeelz.

I literally just finished watching Idiocracy (again)

As the years roll on since it's original release it really does take on more of a documentary feel,
