Anyone think the Pelagos Ultra is worth it, if you don't dive? What are the odds they make it in blue? There are no ADs next to me but tried the normal blue one on last week. Couldn't see paying MSRP in the Bahamas then taxes at customs. I bet that blue would look really good in the larger version! |

I have been wearing an OG blue 42 for 2 years and love it. Got the chance to try on and check out the ultra as a customer wore it into the store I work at, we chatted. It felt lighter, not crazy thick, but a touch less nice than mine. Granted it wasn’t dialed into my wrist but the bracelet felt cheaper. The size and thickness work if you’re a decent sized dude or lift, so no worries there. Idk if they will do a blue honestly. I expected them to do a blue 39 and they still haven’t so who knows. Go see one in person if you can. Checking out the AD in NO is actually what got me to buy one (used but still). |

I recently tried on an Ultra - really liked it. For reference I daily a BB58 and am a big Tudor fan in general. Pro: Very light - seems lighter than the 58 Bracelet feels great Minimal text on dial Con: Thick - definitely would not wear with dress shirt cuff I prefer the chapter ring on the OG Pelly Price - you could get an OG Pelly for 1/2 the $ of a new Ultra It’s a toss up for me - I might get an OG instead. Still hell of a watch and I’ll never diver to 500, say nothing about 1000m. Would not be my only watch - would go Black Bay Monochrome or 58. |
