I have been looking really hard at picking one up. I called LGS and they said they just got one last Friday. Might grab this week. Already have a CZ 452 with 2-7x. I love to squirrel hunt. Hunt in the NC mountains sometimes over 4000 feet. Really light sounds nice. I also have a five year old that will be shooting soon from bench. I listened to a podcast this weekend and an oldtimer was talking about just how good his was. Said it was more accurate than his best Anschutz rifle. Huh?! My CZ is a tack driver but not threaded. My suppressed pcp is down from a popped regulator; this rifle is way cheap compared to pcps and i want a suppressed 22 rifle. Lets hear some accuracy reports. |

| I have a BRN22 build with a Kidd Ultralite barrel on it and it's probably in my top 3 favorite guns I own. Insanely accurate and fun to shoot. |

The 10/22 carbon fiber is not just light, it handles quickly. The balance is centered which makes it quick - designed for steel challenge it seems. It is harder to use as a hunting rifle as there is no discernible weight forward to assist with holding free hand shots at distance. A suppressor helps some with that, though. It is lighter than a kidd ultralightweight barrel by a couple ounces. The Kidd has a little more weight forward feel, which can assist with free hand hunting type shooting. I like the carbon 10/22. In fairness though she had just got done handling a bunch of old school milsurps the day before. But she absolutely loves how light it is. It’s easy for us to forget just how front heavy a rifle can be to the fairer sex. |

Lets hear some accuracy reports. .I e is extremely accurate with standard cci minimag or maybe the one other I'll have to check. Dine sized 10 shot group at 50 yards. The grouse I shot that are posted above were all shot at about 50 yards. I aimed at the neck and upper back and hit all 3 right where I wanted the bullet to go, no wasted breast meat. Those grouse where shot on a backpacking trip in the pioneer mountains of central Idaho at 10,500 elevation. Alpine lake fireside grouse and cutthroat trout fir dinner that night. The scope weighs more than the gun and was a last minute throw on, I'm looking at possibly going with a 5x prism or a very lightweight fixed power scope. |

Mine has been extremely accurate. Far moreso than the takedown lite that I had previously. I do wish that they had included a magazine storage compartment in the stock like the Magpul Backpacker Takedown stock. Other than that, an SBR version would be cool for those that shoot suppressed SV/subsonic ammo and don't need the extra barrel length for velocity. But even at 16" and a DA Mask, it still carries and handles well. |
