Back in 1980 There was a pbs documetary that covered the geneva convention in which the panelists were all different backgrounds...one was a decorated Army sgt. who had lost an arm, one was a general, etc. I can't remember the name of it or where to find it...help me please..thanks. |
| Man that is a long time ago. It is probably not available because it is probably out of print. I would peruse the PBS website at www.pbs.org/, maybe it can point you to actual human to speak about this. |

I've been looking there and googling for three hours, nothing. This was a panel of politicians, generals, etc. and one army sgt. who had lost his arm. They asked him if, in the field, one of his men was captured by the enemy...and he got a chance to find out where his men were, would he torture a pow to get his answer...his answer was hell yes I would. He then described how he would go about getting his men back. They were not using Vietnam for the country, rather they had a made up name like South "Namibia" or something like that... I think it was more than one part...like a two or three part series... I was about 17 then. |
