I need a Kayak Storage Hoist System that would work on a steel I-Beam. The boss wants his Kayak in the office, any ideas?

Is the whole I beam accessible? If so just throw some chains around it, and attach whatever type of hooks, pullies, and lifting hardware you need.

How heavy is this kayak?

I just put some lag screw hooks through the drywall an into the rafter and it holds up fine.

Hot linking is frowned on but use two of these and some pulleys and rope.
