Is there super accurate depictions of special operations assaults in movies? Like more attention paid to the authenticity of tactical assaults to plot, acting, directing, or cinematography....

Which movies or TV shows come to mind?

They were all real SEALs, one of them was KIA over in the sandbox after the movie was finished....And the Navy supplied all the goodies, all the SOC-R stuff was filmed at the Salt River training area in Kentucky, so as far as gear, tactics, and "actors"...it is probably the most accurate modern movie....

For old school, go with "Frogmen"!

Things have changed a lot since the 80s.
Movement, how the weapon is held, how the weapon is operated, is more realistic. Keeping the finger out of the trigger guard is a big thing.
Mission Impossible movies are a joke. No way you can shoot a pistol while on a motorcycle with one hand and hit your moving target that is over 50 feet away.
Collateral with Tom Cruise was pretty realistic just to give an opposite point of view to his MI movies.

Who dares wins which was called the final option over there.

Don't think most of the film was accurate but the storming of the embassy at the end seems like it was based on the real thing.

Also the wild geese when they raid the African camp possibly.

In Zero Dark Thirty I thought it was a bit ridiculous the Seals were bitching about how dangerous the mission would be right after they found out. I don't think they would be that upset about the chance to kill Osama. I hear the team actually cheered when they found out.

I'm sure people are gonna freak the f- out, but I seem to remember Tears of the Sun being halfway decent?

How about various scenes from Heat?  Not spec ops, but they were trained up by former SAS guys IIRC.

I thought 13Hours got a lot of shit right. Mostly how a small group of guys that know and trust each other rely on their experiemce. The part during a lull on the roof where one of them says "sooner or later theyre going to figure this out and we're gonna have to go down there" stuck in my gut like a knife. No hollywood writer douche wrote that line.

A lot of actors take actual "Shooting for actors" classes in hollywood to show them the basics and how not to look like you dont know what the fuck you are doing (not all, but some movies do this, you can tell which ones dont)

They were skeptical because they'd been chasing that rabbit down a few holes, lost guys, and kept coming up empty due to bad intel.

Act of Valor as has been said.

Tears of the Sun (if you can forgive the backward optic), had some decent tactics portrayed in the bigger fire fights (like bounding overwatch).

Black Hawk Down was realistic, but it doesn't really represent tactics so much as organized chaos.
