oldboy was awesome, not sure if ole Sam "everymovie" Jackson is right for this.

Overrated auteur, but I thought Inside Man was well made. This is way darker than anything he's ever done though, and casting a cartoon like Sam Jackson sorta makes me worry.

The cast doesn't have the chops to pull it off.

I'm actually a bit disgusted at the money grab from something that was done right the first time.

It's like remaking Empire with Justin Beiber to "appeal to a broader audience".

I just did a lot of this when I read the OP:

The trailer doesn't look too bad though. Don't know what to think about this one.

Oldboy was an awesome film. Much better in the original Korean instead of the dubbed-English version.
