Just snapped these of my backyard a few minutes ago. Its supposed to keep snowing until 3 AM. Who else has snow storm pics from today?

North texas is fucked. It started raining at about 1 am last night, then turned to sleet. I had to drive ~80 miles to go get my wife and son from children's hospital in dallas....left at 3:45 am and got back around 9 am. Normally a 1.5 hour drive(one way). Needless to say, I haven't been awake very long, and haven't been out to take pics. I'll venture out in a bit to take care of a cat problem and get some pics. I'll bet fluffy is mighty cold in that box trap. ETA: Fluffy has six lives left...was too fast for me to get on with the shotgun.  I'll get ya next time you little bastard.  This is what it looks like here, solid ice. The first pic is blurry, didn't realize I had the camera set for manual focus.    A couple of pics of my yard after some douche decided to roll his truck last week.        yay. |

Took a video of the current conditions.
Video of the storm KCMO My brick front porch is 18 inches and the snow has drifted up over it. 
Dogs are staying warm in the house I built. The deck portion that you can barely make out sits 8" off the ground. They're out of the wind and drifts and have 2 bales of straw in there to keep the heat in. |

In my rural area the roads are covered in black ice now. I slid right past my driveway on the way home from work. My snow tires are excellent but they aren't worth a damn in these conditions. Don't know if I'll even attempt going in tomorrow. |
