Ok, so I am going to get the UPS Money order and ship off my Garand paperwork tomorrow.
But, I have a question about clips. Can you re-use the Garand en-bloc clip? |

Now that that's out of the way, I'm hikacking this thread.
When I load the first round, it jams, as if there is not enough recoil spring strength. I smack the charging handle and the round loads the rest of the way into the chamber. What is the likely prob lem? Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Insert clip, nudge charging handle forward. Though of course it does not indicate a problem if the bolt follows without assistance. |

The CMP sells ammo that comes in a bandoleer with clips and cardboard spacers. Nice ammo. Not as cheap as it used to be. You do get plenty of clips to use. I think you have to order or ship it separately from your rifle. I recommend you order some so you will have proper ammo for your Garand. If you don't know, it is not recommended to use modern high pressure curve ammo. It can damage the op rod. Midway USA has a gas tube nut that is designed to vent pressure. It is adjustable. Search M1 Garand Parts. Enjoy that rifle. Nothing runs like a Garand. |

No, you can not re-use the clips without repairing them first. I am an authorized clip rebuilder and you need to send them to me for repair after use. I only chrlarge a small fee plus shipping. I kid, I kid.

I think I'm full up on "Ping!" clips. Is there any reason there might be a $3000 Springfield? |
