Is anything still being "occupied?"  Haven't  heard anything about them down this way lately.   Still makes me shake my head over how the media and "celebrities" championed them yet it's the Tea Party that are the extremist.

I'm in Austin and haven't heard a peep from the local Occupy for some time (of course, I don't really pay that much attention to them anyway). I'm sure the media will showcase them again the closer we get to November.

I bet the 100 degree heat killed off the stragglers if the night sticks and rubber bullets didn't

I saw a fresh chalk scribbling that said "Occupy Missoula.  We are the 99%".

It was 99 degrees out and nobody was there.

Pussies.

In our area (Madison WI) their permit ran out May 1st.
They kicked them out and then had to bring in a hazmat crew to cleanup their site (condoms, needles, feces, trash, etc)
Good riddance!

They were definitely decimated by the weather. Other factors include the high crime rate in the camps, lack of organic, fair trade food handouts, and shortage of electrical outlets to charge their MacBooks to blog truth to power.

There's still an Occupy L.A. The permanent encampment is at Pershing Square, if you follow the chalk and smell.

They are merely living in the moment, complete idiots to their own cause, wait till there is a jump in polls for Romney.

Declared victory, and went back to living in their parents' basements

 I'd buy that.

I think the DC group got an office near the park they were in.

Everybody around them still hates them though.

I find it odd that the Tea Party was everywhere and had a huge influence in the mid-term elections two years ago, and that the Occupy movement
dominated the news last fall and winter.

Now it seems both have all but disappeared.

You would think that both would be having rallies and trying to get media coverage since we are less than 4
months away from election day.

Those delusional morons probably did do just that.

I think the reasons that they are laying low are,
1. They are starting to get what they want such as obamacare etc. They're socialist dream is slowly coming to fruition.

2. The election is right around the corner. To not annoy the folks who may go either way.

3. Yes they are pussies who cannot take the heat.

"Black bloc and Anon Bloc tactics are being encouraged because some say liberal protests get nothing done" and that they are "In no way welcoming", while showing pictures throughout of anarchists performing various acts of vandalism.

Here in Madison, WI the last media blip was when the Socialist/Communist mayor ordered them to break camp and move out of their encampment.  The papers lit up with local uber bleeding hearts responding with "Where are they going to go...most of these people are homeless, yadda, yadda".  And then...silence.  Looks like for the most part even their libtarded brethren were getting tired of them.

Obama sent them home.  They served the purpose of "showing how the Republicans destroyed the economy" and now that Obama has fixed everything they can home.  If they stuck around it would show that Obama didn't fix things.

Wait for them to show up a little before election time.

Just a prediction is all.
