So... I have been buying SIG P320 since before the IED.. IUD... UAP... UCD... UFO... law suits! To the point... I need to find a gunsmith that can correct the short coming to make my P320 better. Y'all know of a service that can machine my slide for a DDP (Delta Point Pro) pattern red dot? Hey, If I just posted who can machine my P320 slide, no one would even click on my thread! |

Quoted: … you’re pouring money into that dying platform? Where can you even shoot one anymore? I own one because I bought it for study… they’re amongst the shittiest pistols ever built. Anyone carrying a P320 in 2026 is criminally negligent. Define... criminally negligent!! House gun... Agency Arms trigger with the toggle (dongle.. whatever) trigger safety. Conversion to a thumb safety (with OEM parts). NEVER carry a loaded chamber on ANY semi auto, it is unsafe the pistol could go off. I was told my Glock .40 S&W would blow up. Glock firing in the holster when drawing or holstering and "Glock leg". My HK P7M8 was to be gripped to set the striker during the draw. I was later told it actually was unsafe to set the striker during the draw, as New Jersey State Troopers where shooting themself in the ass. (HKs version of Glock Leg) I could go back to the early (pre 1973) Ruger single action revolver no safety. Oh my!! The street gangs can grab my Beretta 92f and in an instant remove the slide. The Beretta M9 was the perfect military side arm better than the 1911A1... right up until a SEAL had a slide break and blow back into his face. Or back any further to never carry a 1911 with a round in the chamber. Or always carry a 1911 on half cock. Or pin down the 1911 grip safety because it is too easy to fail to grip it correctly and the hammer won't fall. I was told the early M16 I was issued never needing to be cleaned. Etc... etc... etc... These things have been happening ever since a Colt Single Action Army was dripped by a Cavalry Trooper and the sixth round in the cylinder discharged. (load one, skip one, load four and the empty chamber is under the hammer) So... what is the difference of all this. This has been happening since the invention of the revolver. The difference... desk top computers, smart phones, laptop computers and the whole world has instant access... and the shit spreads often without direct knowledge of the actual facts, misinformation and don't forget about ambulance chasing Lawyers can get you a cash settlement because it will be cheaper for the industry to settle out of court than go to trial. AND... don't forget the feeding frenzy of "shit, I had a negligent discharge by poor safe handling and cheap holsters, and...and... and... my pistol fired and I did not touch it boss". To top it off... those NDs can turn into a cash settlement "Wow, I came out OK" I concede that there have in fact been Un-commanded Discharge incidents. I have no doubt there have been more Negligent Discharges to cover up poor safety claimed to be UDs and the hope an ambulance chaser will get a 7 figure out of court settlement... for someones fuck up! |

Everyone else is either “cocked and locked” or “Israeli Style.” I think the reason P320 stigma is strong is because some of the incidents have been captured on video and thus can spark debate with multiple people arguing what they see, whereas the “Glock leg” or P7 squeeze cock incidents, were generally a “he said/she said” kind of affair where it was ultimately assumed that no one involved was telling the truth since no footage was available to make judgment with. |

There were several threads mentioning Tooth and Nail Armory beginning in 2015 when someone initially sent their Glock slide to them for an optic cut. That picture supposedly was taken by the person when they received the slide back. The name "Tooth and Nail Armory" pops up every so often in GD when people ask where to get an optic cut and in turn someone posts a sarcastic response with either just the name or that photo. In all seriousness, the best place in my opinion for optic cuts is Jagerwerks. Their cuts are outstanding and the nitride coating is literally an exact match to the factory Glock Gen5 finish. https://jagerwerks.com/jagerwerks-blog/optic-footprints-delta-point-pro/ |

I messaged them and the response was that they specialize in Glock. I have also used Battle Werx for Glock too. They only do SIG Sauer P365. It looks like C&H is what I seek! |

| Check with the vendor you pick to see if your slide can be milled for the DPP mount. Many P320 slides have lightening cuts in the bottom of the slide that prevent certain milling options. You don't want to mail your slide just to have the vendor look at it and say your slide can't be milled. |
| I've used Vulcan machine werks for optic cuts before. They are somewhat local to me but cut slides from all over the place |

Quoted: Wager Machine. I think they do P320's. I've used them for glock slides. If they also cut P320's they are a quality option as well. and probably faster turnaround than vulcan. edit: just looked at their site. looks like they only do P365's as far as sig's lineup goes |

There have been a number of suggestions to get an OEM or aftermarket .45acp slide with optic cut. If we were desiring a 9 mm slide that would be the answer. I Finally found an LEO trade-in P320 sub compact (the have been discontinued for a considerable time). Direct from SIG Sauer I bought a complete sub-compact slide with a Romeo-X Pro pre-installed with night sights. The Romeo-X pro sits low enough to co-witness with standard height sights. The price was a can't pass up combo. The original slide will have a threaded barrel and suppressor height sights. Now back to a P320 Compact .45 acp... a LEO trade in P320 .45 acp seems to be as rare as hen's teeth. Finding grip module for .45 acp P320 are scarce... .45acp P320 slides with or without optic ready cuts are near impossible! If any of y'all know where I can get a P320 .45acp compact slide optic ready. Post up and IM me! |

I had them do 2 glock slides and was happy with the experience and results. |

It’s not an accident, it’s intentional negligence, and people like that should have their rights removed. It’s a wildly dangerous pistol which only has the saving grace of having so many deficiencies it’s difficult to determine why an individual one failed. That’s not usually considered to be a highlight of a design, but on the P320 it being inherently dangerous is often used as the excuse for its failings. I would love to see the overlap in P320 carrying, pitbull ownership, and failure to finish highschool. There’s got to be some serious overlap. People who carry a P320 in 2026 are being purposefully irresponsible. It is a character flaw. |

Anyone carrying a P320 in 2026 is criminally negligent. I'm not sure it's dying, but I sure wouldn't own one just because why risk it though. And I would think a slide that has all those features might be available on the cheap as someone else dumps the platform after pouring money into it. |

Quoted: DUDE you do realize that the burden of proof in a civil case is much lower than in a criminal case. If you can't win a civil case then there is no way in hell you can win a criminal case. Quoted: Quoted: Dude... that is CIVIL court! Who cares? The dismissal was not on the merrits of the case. It was because the plaintiff lacked standing to bring the action. The Eighth Circuit Court ruled in Glasscock v. SIG SAUER, Inc. that a plaintiff must experience an actual defect on a product claim, rather than suggesting a theoretical defect could occur in the future and claiming damages. In its written decision, the court shows the plaintiff “admitted that he has had no issues (including inadvertent discharge) with his P320.” |
