Hey! What about Detroit? Also what in hell does this mean? General Non-Specific Homocide Year Population Offenders 1976 8.9% 16.3% ect. In 1976 8.9% of the murders were perpitrated by 16.3% of the offenders? In 1976 8.9% of black males between the ages of 14 -24 committed 16.3% of the murders? Explain please. Figures don't lie, but liers sure do figure. |

Not to pile-on, but the NY Times (not exactly a conservative paper), had a huge story, a few months back. The article was about people who "snap", and go on shooting sprees. There were tons of stats about murder demographics. One of these stats stated that more than 51% of ALL murders, in the US, are committed by blacks. Not per capita. Not proportionally. It was clearly stated. 51% of the TOTAL. Most Murders Are Committed By Blacks. If someone is murdered, odds are.... Seems to me that this statistic could be a story in itself. It throws the socio economic angle out the window. |
