I bought a Zalman NC2000 notebook cooler...under full load with the cooler I'm getting 46* C CPU temp and 51* C GPU temp according to PC Wizard 2009...this is a Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz CPU with nVidia 9600GT GPU.

It's been so long since I benchmarked temps I was wondering how that sounds for a notebook?

I suppose it may depend on your laptop model.

On mine, a Gateway p-7811fx upgraded to a T9900 cpu (3.07ghz) and an Nvidia 9800gts gpu I get 42 degC on the cpu cores, up to 59 degC when compiling. The gpu hasn't been above 41 degC. (not a gamer...)

I know the NC2000 works well. My laptop used to be warm/hot to the touch and now it actually feels cooler than room temp.

C

55 Fahrenheit certainly doesn't seem feasible for a running CPU, now does it?

You didn't specify CPU or GPU....that's why I was asking for clarification...
