Greetings, all

I'm trying to figure out what my next purchase in the gun-world will be, and so far I am debating between a shotgun for HD (870 or 590), or SBRing my AR (also for HD). The rough budget for this project (initially) is about $600.  What says the hive?

Edit: not 21, so have to look into age requirements in WA about SBRing (dont flame––I haven't looked into it deeply).

Poll inbound.

EDIT: only firearm i have is my AR (16")

If you only own 1 AR, I wouldn't suggest SBRing it.

Well you didn't say what you already have but an 870 should be in every stable.

Get the shotgun.  In WA, SBR is not legal yet

As already posted, SBR's are currently prohibited by Washington State law.

For $600 you should be able to get a nice shotgun, some nice attachments (sling, sights, etc.), and still have enough cash for ammunition.  If you don't already have a shotgun then I'd suggest an 870. You can save some cash if you buy used (I can usually find a nice one for less than $200.00).

Tough to beat a shotgun.

870, definitely! Then get a 1911 in .45.
