I'm trying to figure out what my next purchase in the gun-world will be, and so far I am debating between a shotgun for HD (870 or 590), or SBRing my AR (also for HD). The rough budget for this project (initially) is about $600. What says the hive? Edit: not 21, so have to look into age requirements in WA about SBRing (dont flame––I haven't looked into it deeply). Poll inbound. EDIT: only firearm i have is my AR (16") |

As already posted, SBR's are currently prohibited by Washington State law.
For $600 you should be able to get a nice shotgun, some nice attachments (sling, sights, etc.), and still have enough cash for ammunition. If you don't already have a shotgun then I'd suggest an 870. You can save some cash if you buy used (I can usually find a nice one for less than $200.00). |
