So I'm watching the latest episode of Stargate: Universe, and one of Hulu's commercial breaks comes on. And who's voice do I hear, but fucking zero's, talking about climate change. Fuck....

What a way to ruin a great show....

I just finished watrching the show on Hulu as well.  Strangely, this time I didn't get any commercial breaks!  First time that's happened..I'd get a little "blip" at the spot I thought an ad should be, but it continued on....I thought it strange, but I'm not complaining either.

Sometimes it gives me the option to watch a long commercial only at the beginning, but I never get a 100% commercial free show. I don't really mind them typically, until they insert an ad with zero talking about his bullshit.

I doubt it, its just to easy to get it for free elsewhere for them to risk losing ad money.

but I've been wrong before.

It definitely is - and not that far in the future.

Unless it's literally pennies per show, I won't use it at that point.

Fortunately I only really use it for one show. I don't watch much TV anymore.

"The Hulu homepage reads: “Watch your favorites. Anytime. For free.” In 2010, the most famous and most legal video hosting Web site will lose one-third of its motto. Chase Carey, deputy chairman of News Corporation, the company that owns Hulu with NBC Universal and Disney, announced that Hulu plans to implement some sort of charge and/or subscription model for Hulu’s video content starting in 2010. This is the most infuriating thing to happen to Internet TV since Megavideo implemented the 72 minutes-a-day cap."

Here's a tip. Use www.ninjavideo.net instead of Hulu.

Edit: made link hot.

Sometimes I get an error informing me that the ad cannot play; however, after 30 seconds, the error message goes away and the episode continues on.

hulu's gonna cost money come 2010.  soon youtube will require a subscription fee, than yahoo will charge to do searches. Ugh.
