Got it and now to season it for 5th of July party.  It may get used on the 4th as a test as well.

End with a negative 0.5. I take that as a win. Especially since everyone said we can do this again.

I was a little scared for this one.... Family is away, so I thought I would try it.

Fillet
Simple steak rub
Lots of Mayo.....

Saw the recipe online and figured I would try it.

I recommend.

It's a steak night. Nothing else. No veggies, no starches.... Just meat.

Never heard of mayo on a steak.  How was it?

Never even know it is there. It acts as a binder for your seasoning. Puts a great "crust" on the steak..... I had my doubts, but am now a believer....

Do the same thing with skinless chicken breast. put your seasonings in mayo, coat them and let then sit for a couple hours covered with stretch wrap then cook. Mmm Mmmm good.

Thank you!

Teriyaki chicken has been a favorite for a lot of folks for a long time... and for good reason!

And the chicken thighs... well, you almost gotta TRY to screw them up - before you've screwed them up.

Don't stop posting with pics!

That Adobo stuff goes good on omelets and adds a nice touch to any rib prep also. I'll keep an eye out for the Dan-os.

Family loves it on smash burgers.

Not on the Blackstone.

Tonight, we are using the Grill Dome (BGE knockoff) and cooking/smoking some Country style ribs. This will be shredded for Pork tacos.

Agreed. The Slate puts my Blackstone to shame. My only complaint is there are no adjustments to level it (my deck is slightly off). I wound up putting shims under the low end.

Caught it before going to Achieve-Land!

This is apparently called Cowboy Stir-Fry.  It was a little bland, so next time I'll use andouille sausage, maybe chipotle peppers in adobo sauce and add shrimp to the mix.
