My daughter was born on 3/1 and the wife unit has tasked me with finding some major news events of the day for 3/1.

Now maybe my google-fu is weak and I'm just missing the mark here, so can any of you guys help me out in finding an archive from a major news source (newspaper, tv, whatever) so I can look at what happened on 3/1.
