Okay, here's the problem.  I have a CD-R that was sent to me that has some files on it that I need to open.  It appears that the person that burnt the disc did not "close" the disc properly.  So, when you (going through "My Computer") look at the disc, it appears that there are no files there.  However, if you look at properties you see that 3.5 gig of information is on the disc, which is the correct ammount.

So, is there anyway for me to access these files?  It appears (judging by the properties) that the data is there, I just can't get at it because none of the files are listed.

3.5 is most likley the maximum size of the disk. If you try to explore and you dont see anything it may be a lost cause.

I use a app called File Scavenger to scan disks with fucked up partition tables. May work for you.. It may not.. Good luck.

you can't fit 3.5 gigs on CD-R.  those discs only hold 700mb (0.7 gig)

It is a DVD-R

It's episodes 13 -17 of Lost, Season 5.  This is important shit.

..and my Afghan Telecom aircard is way too slow to download the episdoes directly.

I'll try file scavenger.
