I need to use a candelabra base LED light bulb in a battery-powered base. Is this possible? I tried with bulbs mentioned below and it didn't work...

You're good to go...
you just need to add a power inverter... Batt PWR TO AC converter.
It should be easier to re-wire for AC... The LED "bulb" demands 120AC.
