| Well I finally go home (Ohio) after about two years. When I get there I find out my little brother (19) had turned into a white wanna-be thug. He has long hair, gang tattoos and talks like he is from Compton. He has dropped out of high school got fired for smoking weed. He hangs out with abunch of other white boys who act the same. There is no father as he left when we were to small to remember, and my mom works alot. I am so tired of how its cool to be black in this country, I hate rap music, thank god for country music. What is the best way to handle this? Should I whip his ass till he understands, or take him to the Marine recutier, and drop his ass off. My mother is still recovering from her cancer and has neither the time nor energy to deal with his ass, she kicked him out when he turned 18? Any help would be nice, I want the best for my brother but it seems nothing will work. THANKS |

Have a talk with him and see what's up in his life. See if you can help him straighten things out. If he knows he's having problems in life, you might suggest the USMC as a good place to get a fresh start and get his shit straight. If he's hopelessly lost to the "culture" that he's adopted, there's only one thing you can do. SSS. |

as someone who also lost their father when they were young and my brother went off the reservation so to say You have to say to your brother "look, I love you, i'm your brother, this ain't right, you know it and i"m here for you, but I won't support what you are doing" and allow him to make his own decisions. You have to let people foul up their own lives. The person who needs your support is your mom, go talk with her, really talk with her, she's hurting over your brother, just like you, and neither one of you can do anything about it. Sorry.

I swear to god he thinks he is black, I brought my handgun home with me and he called it a GAT? WTF? I should have kicked his ass for that one alone.
