Hello everybody.  I am new to this board and to the world of AR's.  I plan on getting an AR and need your advice.  Two questions.

1. One dealer is telling me to go with a Bushmaster and another dealer is telling me to go with DPMS (Panther). Which one should I go with?

2. Will a chrome lined barrel last longer than a chrome moly barrel?

No special use intended for the rifle but do want the 20 inch heavy barrel.  Any advice or opinions will be greatly appreciated.  

1) Listen to the first dealer...DPMS sucks
