I have one pair, kind of wish I had bought a couple more pairs to bring to work to share. I'll probably make a box viewer like I did one year so people can see it.

I live within the zone of totality - or whatever the heck it's called - those things are everywhere around here - every gas station grocery store, etc has them - what's the big deal with those?

There was a big solar eclipse in the early 90s when I was working in a motorcycle shop. We all fought over the welding helmets so we could watch the eclipse.

I have 6 pair that Amazon has now pulled the vendor page for and people are pissed that they said certified when they are not. Haven't heard shit from Amazon about a refund.

I guess so. I see the Celestron glasses are discontinued at B&H Photo.

This is why I ordered my solar kits back in May or so. I even sent some to my family a couple of months ago so they'd be prepared before the stuff went scarce.

Personally though I wouldn't hawk my spare cardboard glasses like that. I have a few pairs of the freebie glasses they gave out here, plus 8 of the Celestron glasses that came with the hard-plastic glasses I ordered, so if I have any neighbors who need a set, I'm just going to give them some of my spares.
