My brother and I are taking a trip to New York City next week. We have never been there.
Beyond the obvious (ground zero, Statue of Liberty, etc) ...what are must sees/must dos? |

Personally, I'm a fan of Times Square. Not much to do, but nice place to visit. Any resteraunt in the city will prove to be good, but stay away from the chains. Go up on either the Empire State Building or the Rockefeller Building. Top of the Rock is not as popular as the Empire State, and provides a great view of the whole city, and surrounding areas. While your checking out the Statue of Liberty, could also look at Ellis Island. There are a ton of great musems. The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art just to name a few. Could go to the Bronx Zoo or Coney Island. St. Patrick's Cathedral is beautiful to see, could catch a Yankee or a Met game and check out the new stadiums if your into that. If you want to see it, odds are NYC has it... |
