Is there any way to figure out why I keep getting NICS delayed?? The only thing I have on my record is minor in possesion of alcohol... I don't think that would do it. It pisses me off. EVERY damn time! I know I can apply for one of those transaction number deals, but I shouldn't HAVE to. |

I don't understand why the same system is not used for NFA purchases as well since the NICS check searches State & Federal criminal databases as well as State and Local firearms laws. Seems to me there is no logical explanation why NFA approval takes an average of 6 months to process.
Can anyone show how a person who can pass NICS and lives in a NFA friendly location could be denied an NFA item? |

It doesn't take any real time other than waiting for a response and your number. I |
