Here's a curiosity question for you...
I buy through a couple local shops. What is the retention period for the form 4473? Is it kept on file permanently? Does it get forwarded to the Feds? Does it get destroyed after a period of time? What happens to this thing? Really don't know.... thanks in advance for the info. Jeff |

Sure, there's no registration. i am under the impression the 4473 is registration, i mean if i buy a gun at a shop its registered to me right? also is it illegal to buy a gun without the atf knowing? say a friend sells me his, do i report it? |
