Turned out great! Bought a blast cabinet, filled it with aluminum oxide, roughed it up and then followed Norrell's instructions.
Used my heat gun to keep temps up while spraying with my HF airbrush. Baked in my Kenmore. Put it all back together.

It's because I'm green, isn't it?

What color is that?  It looks awesome.

My one and only Moly Resin project was my A1 homage.

I used the Gray-Black Flat and "tuned" the color by increasing the temp/time in the oven.  Started out gray and as the heat increased, turned the slight greenish color so it matched the upper.  The upper is original, the lower was painted with Moly Resin.  Couldn't have asked for a better match.

I did this with a $10 Preval sprayer.  I was skeptical that it would work, but it turned out great.

Moly Resin is good stuff!

It's one of the newer colors, Magpul OD

I used a Harbor Freight airbrush and caught a harbor freight blast cabinet on sale for $109.

They have some small touchup HVLP guns, I am going to buy one just because filling up the airbrush bottle so many times was a PITA
