So I removed my muzzle break as I wanted clean the area real good. I got a new crush washer but how do I insure the ports are lined up properly? Is there an alignment tool I need or is their a way I can eye it? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Sorry, its the RockRiver Arms with A2 upper. I can't seem to find the muzzle break on their site anymore, but it looks like their A2 flash hider but the bottom half has no ports. Can I really just eye it? Would hate for it to be off and have it recoil to the sides.

Put the gun in a vise and level it with a bubble level....then put the level on the wrench flats on the break...most quality levels have 2-3 bubbles indexed at 90 and 45 deg so this will work fine

uhh, you are in kali, you sure that isnt supposed to be permanently attached?

Actually, on every muzzle device I have installed, the wrench flats are vertical when it is oriented correctly (just don't install it upside down).

Only if the removal shortens the barrel below 16" or 30" overall length. Otherwise no, it does not need to be permanent.
