any feedback or experience with these guys? I have been with them 3 years and not made a penny. Still in the hole. I know the economy sucks right now, but I am paying a fee to lose my money. I can probably do that myself for free.

Are my losses because of timing and the economy or am I wasting time and money in the form of fees?

I've heard their commercials on the radio, but I don't know a lot about them.

Are your accounts discretionary or non-discretionary?
If it is discretionary, I'd be pissed in your shoes.  I'd talk to them about your risk profile and have it altered IF they can demonstrate they are performing better in other account segments.

If it is non-discretionary, you probably need to have a meeting with them to discuss what risk tolerances you have indicated to them, and re-evaluate the strategy.  They can really only operate on what parameters you have given them, and in a non-discretionary account, they brought the options to you.

Clearly, the two of you are on different pages.

I made 26% on my trading portfolio in the last two weeks, but I was an investment manager, and stockbroker for 15 years.

It can be done.

Fidelity or Vanguard...there's no reason to pay anything for a MF...and no reason to put up with high expense ratios.

I don't like mutual funds.  Unless your fund manager is Peter Lynch, you can probably do better investing yourself.  Buy some books and start reading.  The Intelligent Investor and Security Analysis are two classics that everyone should read.
