A co-worker wants to share his Lexmark Mutli-Function printer/copier/scanner at home w/o having to leave his PC on. I suggested getting a print server so it sits off the router instead of the computer. Do you think there would be any issues with the software that's used to control to printer functions? He said it installs a number of apps to do different functions. I would assume that as long as the PC is still able to communicate with the printer it'd still be able to control it.
