Nice to see people take pride in the country.  Saddened that it took an event like this to bring it about.  Annoyed that people are flying their flags incorrectly (wrong direction when vertical, at night, etc).

To add to your thoughts, it may not be a horrible idea for those who can either afford it or wish to put their balls out there to put up a little money and throw it into the Stock Market... $500-$1000 makes a difference.

I'm strapped right now, but took out a loan for $1k to kick into the market... should have the check shortly and plan on putting it into a company that donated to the cause... perhaps Xerox who is headed downhill fast, but still managed to donate $1 Million to this... or Cisco who is a giant and will make a better investment. (Think they invested $4 million? Not sure...)

Just an outside thought on the matter... my gun and toy fund went out the window faster than a greased bb out my arse! Guess, I'll have to make due with the lovely ladies I currently have in the house... (Wife included!)
